Florida State University
Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for excellence in philanthropy, academic performance, and campus leadership. In keeping with our motto, We Live for Each Other, our members have found a place for support, shared values, and personal development. Opportunities abound for the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, and we look forward to sharing them with you.
The establishment of the Iota Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Florida State University dates back to 1909, marking it as one of the pioneering chapters within the Alpha Delta Pi organization. In 1932, our chapter made history by constructing the first sorority house in the state of Florida. We Celebrated 115 years on Florida State’s campus this past January. We joyously commemorated our anniversary, marking over a century of sisterhood and tradition.
What sets our chapter apart is the profound dedication and boundless affection we share among our members. Embracing the mantra “We Live For Each Other,” this open motto encapsulates the strong connection that binds all of our sisters together. Through triumphs, challenges, and new adventures, the sisterhood within our chapter provides unwavering love and support. Alpha Delta Pi serves as a nurturing home that cultivates the potential of young women, where our sisters continuously share unforgettable experiences. The essence of our ADPi sisterhood transcends the four college years; it evolves into a friendship that endures beyond graduation. It’s a unique bond characterized by trust and love, creating a truly incomparable connection.
